We recognize that there are many areas of need and concern for families during their child’s visit.  We are dedicated to supporting families in every way possible so that their focus can remain on their child. Family and Team Communication:

  1. Parents/guardians are welcome to listen to their child’s team rounds.  The rounds include nurses, respiratory therapists, doctors, pharmacists, and dieticians who are caring for the child.  The team discusses the current state of your child and the plan for the day. 
  • Bedside Handoffs: 7:00 am – 7:30 am and 7:00pm- 7:30 pm.
  • Interdisciplinary teams will do rounds at 8am and then again at 2pm, with the exception of the Hematology team which varies when their rounds begin.
  1. You may call the floor anytime at to check on your child and to get an update.  You are an important member of your child’s care team.

  • Interdisciplinary Teams round from 8:45-11:30 am.

Parents/guardians are welcome to listen to their child’s team rounds.  Team rounds usually start around 8:00 a.m. and are finished around 10:30 a.m.  The rounds include nurses, respiratory therapists, doctors, pharmacists, and dieticians who are caring for the child.  The team discusses the current state of your child and the plan for the day. 
  2. You may call the NCCC anytime at 984-974-3481 to check on your child and to get an update.  You are an important member of your child’s care team.
