Obesity Comorbidities Clinic

Children who have obesity and overweight are predisposed to develop a variety of health problems which may require evaluations by multiple specialists. We have developed the obesity comorbidities clinic to provide care for most obesity complications and nutrition counseling in a single visit.

Most common problems associated with obesity for which we offer treatment are:

  • Diabetes and pre-diabetes
  • High blood pressure
  • Sleep apnea
  • Cholesterol and lipids abnormalities
  • Fatty liver
  • Orthopedic problems, for example bowed legs, pain on knees, hips or feet
  • Early puberty
  • Hormone disorders that cause irregular periods, excess of hair and severe acne.
