Pediatric Rheumatology

UNC Children’s pediatric rheumatology specialists have the experience and expertise to diagnose and care for kids with arthritis and other complex rheumatic diseases affecting their joints, muscles, bones, or organs.

Conditions We Treat

We evaluate, diagnose, and treat pediatric rheumatologic and autoimmune disorders, including:

  • ANCA vasculitis
  • Behcet’s disease
  • Henoch-Schönlein purpura or IgA vasculitis
  • Juvenile arthritis
  • Juvenile dermatomyositis
  • Kawasaki disease
  • Lupus
  • Multisystem inflammatory syndrome in children
