UNC Child and Family Guidance Program
This program helps children and their families understand the underlying causes of their behaviors and mental health struggles. Our 6- to 8-week program evaluates children and adolescents ages 3–18 to help recommend treatments to meet their individual needs.
Treatments may include therapy for children and their caregivers, as well as medication management, if needed. We also work with schools and other healthcare professionals to find new ways for families to navigate complicated mental health situations.
