UNC Children’s Family Advisory Council

UNC Children’s Patient and Family Advisory Board is a group of parents, staff, adult former patients, and community members who work together to support and promote patient- and family-centered care.

If you are a family member of a current or former patient, we need you! As an Advisor for UNC Children’s you can participate in the following ways:

• Attend regular meetings to plan board projects.
• Offer support to families currently in treatment.
• Serve on hospital committees and improvement projects.
• Provide staff education about the patient and family experience.
